Pellucine — Terms of use
Last updated 31 October 2026
Pellucine is published by Chibu LLC. By using it you agree to these terms. If you got Pellucine from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies, and where the two differ for an App Store copy, Apple's agreement governs.
What is free
Unlimited songs, with no account and no ads; the progression builder in every key and tempo, played on the keys voice; the lyric sheet, with chords above the lyrics and a syllable count on every line; one vocal recording track over the progression, with a count-in; the key reference; and backup and restore of your songs to a file. They stay free.
The free week
On Android (Google Play), one tap in Pellucine opens Pellucine Pro for 7 days, with no card and no purchase. Nothing is charged and nothing renews when the week ends: Pro simply locks again, and every song and take you made stays yours and keeps playing.
On iPhone and iPad, the 7 free days are instead Apple's own free trial of the yearly plan, for new subscribers. It starts in Apple's purchase sheet, and unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends (in Settings: tap the name at the top, then Subscriptions), the yearly plan begins and Apple charges it.
What you can buy
Pellucine Pro adds multitrack recording with the mixer; export as a mixed WAV, stems, a MIDI file and a chord sheet; the preset progression library; the rhyme finder on the lyric sheet; and the guitar and pad voices, synth bass and drums. There are three ways to buy it, and the free version is yours either way:
- Yearly: $19.99 a year (US price). It renews automatically each year at the same price until you cancel. Google Play, or on iPhone and iPad Apple, takes the payment when you confirm. Cancel any time in your Google Play subscription settings, or on iPhone and iPad in Settings (tap the name at the top, then Subscriptions) at least 24 hours before the period ends; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Monthly: $2.99 a month (US price). It renews automatically each month at the same price until you cancel. Google Play, or on iPhone and iPad Apple, takes the payment when you confirm. Cancel any time in the same settings (on iPhone and iPad, at least 24 hours before the month ends); you keep Pro until the end of the month you paid for.
- Lifetime: $49.99 (US price), paid once. It is not a subscription: it never renews and is never charged again. Buying it does not cancel a subscription you already have; cancel that in your Google Play subscription settings, or on iPhone and iPad in Settings, so it does not renew.
Prices are set in the store and shown in your currency before you confirm. If a subscription price ever changes, the store tells you first, as its own rules require.
Refunds
Purchases are made through Google Play or, on iPhone and iPad, the App Store, and refunds are the store's to grant under its own refund policy: Google Play's help, or Apple's at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring
Use "Restore purchases" on the Pellucine Pro screen, signed in to the same store account. A lifetime purchase restores on any phone or iPad signed in to that account.
Your content
Your songs and recordings stay on your phone and are yours. If Pro ends, every song and take you made still opens, plays every track and can be edited; only adding something that belongs to Pro (a new track, a preset, a rhyme search, an export) asks for Pro again.
No warranty
Pellucine is provided as it is. Its instruments are synthesized on the phone, not recorded, and it adds no effects, pitch correction or mastering. Recording over playback depends on the phone's own audio hardware: Bluetooth headsets drop to call quality while the microphone is on. Chords are the nine of each major key, in major keys only. Syllable counts come from a pronouncing dictionary, and a count for a word it does not know is an estimate, marked with a "~".
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date.
